Alexander Pope

The Sixth Doctor once quoted Alexander Pope on the subject of coffee. (PROSE: Strange Attractor) In 1733, he had published An Essay on Man. (PROSE: I Was a Monster!!!)

The Ninth Doctor brought him and Theobald to see a performance of William Shakespeare's Cardenio. The pair were threatened with restriction from the TARDIS food machine's supply of viennetta. (PROSE: Double Falsehood)
