Ysanne Churchman (born 14 May 1925[1][2] in Sutton Coldfield) voiced Alpha Centauri in the Doctor Who television stories The Curse of Peladon, The Monster of Peladon and Empress of Mars, and Lupton's Spider[3] in Planet of the Spiders.

She retired from acting in 1999 at the age of seventy-four. Despite this, she returned to the role of Alpha Centauri in 2017, at nearly the age of 92. She is the oldest actor to work on modern televised Doctor Who at the time of their involvement in production.
