The captain was the officer in charge of the army detachment Orange Patrol, summoned by Sir Charles Summer to investigate the warehouse in Covent Garden where the first War Machine was being constructed in July 1966.
Biography
After receiving authorisation from Sir Charles, the captain sent the patrol in to search the warehouse. He briefly spoke with the First Doctor and Ben when they arrived on the scene before the survivors of the patrol fled the warehouse pursued by the War Machine.
