Louis Armstrong

Louis Armstrong was an American singer and musician who lived during the 20th century.

Louis Armstrong knew the Doctor, and, while on an adventure with Ace, the Seventh Doctor recalled that Armstrong "really understood Time", adding that (unlike Ace) the singer made perfect sense of such setbacks of time-travel as encountering the consequences of adventures one had not yet experienced in one's personal timeline. (TV: Silver Nemesis) On Kirith, the Seventh Doctor had a personally signed photograph of Louis Armstrong in his pocket. (PROSE: Timewyrm: Apocalypse)

Louis Armstrong died in the summer of 1971. (PROSE: Who Killed Kennedy)

Mikhail's father played Louis Armstrong's Potato Head Blues at the Eighth Doctor's party on board the Amandala. (PROSE: Reversal of Fortune)
