The TARDIS kitchen was a kitchen in the Doctor's TARDIS. The food machine was usually located there, (PROSE: The Room With No Doors) although it was known to "wander" the corridors. (PROSE: Christmas on a Rational Planet) Food machines quickly became obsolete in TARDISes, and were replaced by full kitchens. (WC: Shada)

By the time of the Sixth Doctor, his ship did include a full kitchen; Evelyn Smythe used it multiple times to make breakfast, even when it was, in fact, the Doctor's turn to do so. She noted that the room automatically restocked itself: there were always exactly six eggs, a fresh pint of milk and freshly baked bread in the kitchen every morning. She used this to make scrambled eggs with toast, served with bacon and freshly-brewed tea, as well. (AUDIO: Project: Lazarus) He once promised to treat Constance Clarke to a homemade meal, but lost the kitchen. (AUDIO: Shield of the Jötunn)

The Doctor prepares food in his TARDIS' kitchen. (COMIC: A Rose by Any Other Name)

Sam Jones told the Eighth Doctor's other companion Fitz Kreiner that the TARDIS didn't have a kitchen, just a food machine. Fitz, who preferred making meals himself, found a kitchen, but wasn't sure whether Sam simply hadn't known about it, or if it had been created for him. (PROSE: Autumn Mist)

On one occasion, the Tenth Doctor cooked dinner in the TARDIS kitchen and scolded Rose-the-cat and K9 for fighting. (COMIC: A Rose by Any Other Name)

The Eleventh Doctor pointed out its location in his TARDIS to Captain Henry Avery. (TV: The Curse of the Black Spot) The Doctor rummaged through the kitchen in the middle of the night in search of a midnight feast, waking up Alice Obiefune in the process. Alice later used the kitchen to make herself a tuna sandwich. (COMIC: Midnight Feast) Amy Pond also used the kitchen to make dinner for herself, the Doctor and Rory. (COMIC: Sticks & Stones) Clara Oswin Oswald later asked him whether or not the TARDIS had a kitchen, where she wished to bake soufflés. The Eleventh Doctor claimed this to be the first time he was asked this. (TV: The Snowmen)
