A Dalek Overseer was based on the Ogron Planet and would experiment on Ogrons to create hybrid-TARDISes using their brains to bypass the telepathic circuits.
Unlike the other Daleks, he possessed non-Dalek motives, had a concept of irony and a Davros-like voice, and even made complaints like a human. After his plan failed to experiment on the Doctor and the Twelve, the Daleks turned on him and discribed him as an abomination and an insult to the Dalek race. Despite his protests as a genius and receiving results, the Overseer was exterminated by his former allies without remorse. (AUDIO: Planet of the Ogrons)
Appearance
The Dalek Overseer had a black casing with a red eyepiece, claw appendages from its weapons platform and short luminosity dischargers. (AUDIO: Planet of the Ogrons)
Behind the scenes
- Nicholas Briggs used a smug voice which coincidently sounded like his portrayal of Tobias Vaughn. (BFX: The Eighth Doctor: The Time War 2)
- The cover image of the Overseer is a modifcation of Dalek Sec.
