The A48 was a major road in Wales. It ran by both Bonvilston (PROSE: Bay of the Dead) and Cross Hands. (TV: The Categories of Life)
At least part of the A48 intersected with the M4 at junction 49. It terminated north-west of Cross Hands, where it joined the A40. (TV: The Categories of Life)
