In 2016, the twentieth anniversary of the original publication of Who Killed Kennedy by Virgin Books, Dave Bishop wrote an epilogue in which some of the more infamous aspects of the story were altered.
Plot
In 1996, James Stevens, after finishing his epilogue, contacts the Doctor and convinces him to alter the coordinates of the Master's Time Ring so that he travels to 25 August 1971. He prevents Francis Cleary from killing Dodo at the cost of his own life, but allowing her and his younger self to live.
Characters
References
- In the new timeline, James no longer knows who killed Kennedy. He and Dodo write a series of children's stories about an old man who travels through time and space.
- James dies shortly after December 2015 at the age of 70.
Notes
- In a tweet asking if the Twelfth Doctor received the call from James Stevens while at St Luke's University, David Bishop answered, "if this lines up, yes". [1]
