World Trade Center

The World Trade Center was a large complex of buildings in New York City, consisting most prominently of two tall towers. (COMIC: Time Lady of Means)

In 1965, the First Doctor and Dodo tried to take a taxi to Battery Park via the World Trade Center. The driver did not know where the latter was and the Doctor realised it would only be constructed five years later. (PROSE: Salvation)

They were visible when the Fourth Doctor and Romana II visited New York City in 1985. (COMIC: Time Lady of Means)

The complex was destroyed in the 9/11 terrorist attacks on 11 September 2001. (AUDIO: The Longest Night)
