The 508th Pythia was the last Pythia who ruled Gallifrey before the rise of Rassilon.

Toward the end of her reign, she found herself unable to pass through the Gate of the Future. Having read in the Book of Future Legends that the next ruler would be male, she recruited Vael to be her successor, but he was lost on the Time Scaphe. In an attempt to find him, she tore out her own eye and replaced it with the eye of the Sphinx so she could again pass through the Gates and peer into Vael's mind.

Before she committed suicide, she cursed Gallifrey with sterility. (PROSE: Cat's Cradle: Time's Crucible)

She later appeared to Chris Cwej and the Seventh Doctor as a harpy or vulture with an eyepatch and jewels in her feathers. (PROSE: Lungbarrow)
