Series 1 of Gallifrey was made up of four stories which were released between March and May 2004. It starred Lalla Ward as President Romana and Louise Jameson as Leela.
Overview
Series 1 reintroduced President Romana and Leela, who were shown meeting for the first time in the 2003 Main Range story Zagreus. It also saw the return of Cardinal Braxiatel and K9 Mark II, who had appeared in the same story, as well as K9 Mark I, Darkel and a new incarnation of Andred in their first appearances for Big Finish.
Series 1 dealt with the origin and theft of the Timonic Fusion Device and the threat it posed in the hands of Free Time, as well as exploring the continued political relationship between the Temporal Powers following the events of The Apocalypse Element. It also introduced and resolved the mystery of Andred's disappearance.
