- 1966 - Part one of the TV Comic story The Extortioner was first published.
- 1977 - Part six of the TV Comic story The Aqua-City was first published.
- 1992 - DWM 195 was first released by Marvel Comics.
- 2006 - Combat was first broadcast on BBC Three.
- 2006 - Deep and Dreamless Sleep was released in the Sunday Times.
- 2008 - The Doctor Who: Battles in Time comic story Extermination of the Daleks was first published.
- 2009 - A Ghost Story for Christmas was first released online.
- 2010 - Part seven of Snowfall was first published online, and the story was made available in its entirety.
- 2011 - Part three of Attack of the Snowmen was first published online.
- 2013 - The Girl Who Loved Doctor Who was first published in the 2013 Doctor Who Special, ending IDW Publishing's Doctor Who output.
- 2015 - Part three of Haunted was first published online.
- 2016 - Christmas Special was first published online.
- 2020 - The Lytton comic story Crime Like Politics is Always Personal was first released by Cutaway Comics.
- 2020 - The Day of the Doctor was first published by Obverse Books.
