David Brierly (also known as David Brierley, January[1] 1935-10 June 2008[2]; born in Yorkshire) was the second actor to provide the voice for K9, temporarily succeeding John Leeson for Season 17 only.

Explained as having been caused by laryngitis, Brierley voiced K9 beginning in The Creature from the Pit and ending with the uncompleted Shada, after which Leeson returned to the role. He also provided the voice for Erato in The Creature from the Pit. Brierley returned to provide the voice of K9 for the video release of Shada in 1992.

Most recently he appeared as himself in the 2000 documentary K9 Unleashed.
