Anne of Denmark

Queen Anne of Denmark was the wife and consort of King James I.

Biography

During the preparations for the opening of the Houses of Parliament, as well as the events of the foiled Gunpowder Plot, Queen Anne and her and James's children were not in London, a fact which Sir Robert Cecil considered worsened her husband's tendancy for late night escapades (PROSE: The Plotters)

With her husband, she attended the first performance of William Shakespeare's play Macbeth. (PROSE: The Empire of Glass) James had several children, including the future king Charles I, Henry (PROSE: The Roundheads) and Elizabeth. (GAME: The Gunpowder Plot)
