Sanjeev Bhaskar OBE (born 30 October 1963[1]) played Colonel Ahmed in the Doctor Who story Death in Heaven. He also voiced several characters for Big Finish Productions including Borusa in the Doctor Who Unbound range.

Personal Life

He is married to Meera Syal, who appeared in The Hungry Earth / Cold Blood.

Career

Bhaskar is perhaps best known for the sketch show Goodness Gracious Me, which he co-wrote and starred in alongside Syal, and Nina Wadia.

He also co-starred in the cold case drama Unforgotten alongside Nicola Walker who played Eighth Doctor companion Liv Chenka.
