Into the Vortex was an online game created for the Doctor Who website in 2007.
It involved the player piloting the TARDIS, which was running low on power crystals. The player had to collect blue gas clouds while avoiding the red ones. If he caught a red gas cloud several times, the TARDIS would appear at a random point in time. For example, your mother's house.
Places possible to appear at include:
- Thames Barrier, 21st century
- Cardiff Bay, present day
- SS Pentallian, 42nd century
- Van Satten's museum, 2012
- Farringham School for Boys, 1913
- Your Mother's House, present day
