Stratford was an area in East London. Behind the scenes
In the real world, Stratford was the site of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, the sporting complex built for the 2012 Summer Olympics. Plans for the new Olympic stadium were announced in late 2007, after the release of Fear Her.
The Olympic Village constructed for the 2012 London Olympics — mentioned in 2009's Worldwide Web — is also located in Stratford, within Olympic Park.
