A companion of the Eleventh Doctor travelled with him to countless places and era, including Earth, Ember, Messaline, Mars, New Earth, Malcassairo, Skaro, and the Starship UK.

The companion's gender and species varied according to source, as various tellings indicated that they were either a human, a Silurian, a Catkind, or a Tree of Cheem. They travelled with at least three other assistants.

They encountered many species, including Autons, Clockwork Droids, Zygons and Daleks. (NOTVALID: Worlds in Time)

Biography

Meeting the Doctor

After the Eleventh Doctor discovered that a temporal event had caused time itself to shatter into crystal shards, the Doctor decided he needed to recruit new allies to help him put the universe right.

After landing in front of the companion, the Doctor chose them to help save worlds and recover crystal shards across time and space.

21st century Earth

The Doctor first sent the companion to Earth, which had been invaded by the Nestene Consciousness and Autons. (NOTVALID: Worlds in Time)

Behind the scenes

  • In the video game Doctor Who: Worlds in Time, the player could choose their character's gender, name, and race. The supplied races were human, Catkind, Silurian, and Tree of Cheem.
  • On top of this, the player could also obtain special items which would imply their species was of another kind, such as a Cyberman helmet or a Time Lord collar. However, this would not affect the actual in-game continuity.
