On 29 August, a number of things set in or relevant to the Doctor Who universe were released or published.
- 1964 - "The Tyrant of France" was first broadcast on BBC1.
- 1970 - Part seven of the TV Comic story Doctor Who and the Rocks from Venus was first published.
- 1989 - The script to The Tomb of the Cybermen was first published by Titan Books.
- 1996 - DWM 243 was first released by Marvel Comics.
- 2002 - ...ish was first released by Big Finish Productions.[1]
- 2012 - Part three of Pond Life was released online.
- 2014 - Toby Hadoke's Who's Round 68 was released online.
- 2017 - Dr. Second, Dr. Seventh, Dr. Eighth and Dr. Ninth were first released by Puffin Books.
- 2019 - The Short Trips audio story #HarrySullivan was released by Big Finish.
