Andy Pandy is a children's television series which began with a puppet series from 20 June 1950 – 30 March 1970 on the BBC Television Service, and later gained a revival series on CBeebies from 25 March – 27 September 2002. The series was created by Freda Lingstrom and Maria Bird, and was part of the Watch with Mother series of shows.
The series stars the titular Andy Pandy, as well as Teddy, among various other characters.
Crossover
The series was among the several earlier BBC productions to be represented in the 1998 Children in Need special Future Generations.
The story featured a young boy walking through the settings of various series while stating the story of the BBC. This began in a garden, where Andy Pandy and Teddy can be seen on Andy's tricycle, and later features two Daleks and the TARDIS, representative of the Doctor Who series.
