Gandalf

Gandalf was a wizard (PROSE: Molten Heart [+]Loading...["Molten Heart (novel)"]) who travelled through the Vortex alongside Batman and Wyldstyle. (WC: New Adventures Await! [+]Loading...["New Adventures Await! (webcast)"])

He was a character in The Lord of the Rings, (PROSE: Mad Dogs and Englishmen [+]Loading...["Mad Dogs and Englishmen (novel)"], etc.)

Biography

After travelling through the Vortex with Batman and Wyldstyle, the trio landed on the streets of New York City, where a ghost flew past. The Ghostbusters quickly began attempting to capture the ghost, before it broke free, with Harry Potter having to help. The trio then ran past Ghostbusters H.Q. and into a portal.

Reuniting with Batman and Wyldstyle, he then found himself in the Land of Ooo, before Finn and Jake appeared, proclaiming "It's battle time!". He then ran up a hill, where the TARDIS began materialising.

He later charged into battle alongside others, before ending up in a mosh pit including everyone who participated in the battle. (WC: New Adventures Await! [+]Loading...["New Adventures Await! (webcast)"])

When the Saxon Master sent a message to Martha Jones via a television broadcast, he showed her the aged Tenth Doctor and sarcastically said, "Say hello, Gandalf." (TV: Last of the Time Lords [+]Loading...["Last of the Time Lords (TV story)"])

Later, the Eleventh Doctor said he was like a "space Gandalf". (HOMEVID: Meanwhile in the TARDIS [+]Loading...["Meanwhile in the TARDIS (home video)"])

When Ryan Sinclair first saw Basalt's cave laboratory on Adamantine, he commented that it looked like the study of a wizard like Gandalf.
