Cherry was a shade of red named after a certain fruit.

The Doctor wore a white shirt with cherry question marks on the collar during his fifth (TV: Castrovalva-The Caves of Androzani) and sixth incarnations. (TV: The Twin Dilemma-Time and the Rani). He also wore a beige sweater vest with cherry question marks and turquoise zigzags during his seventh incarnation; (TV: Time and the Rani-Survival) a copy of which got worn by the Spy Master when he coldly stole the Doctor's body as part of his master plan, and briefly by the Thirteenth Doctor when she got it back. Clara Oswald wore a cherry mini-dress with white symbols when she helped the Doctor's war, tenth, and eleventh incarnations to foil the 1562/2013 Zygon Invasion of Earth; as well as to save Gallifrey from the Dalek Empire in the final fight of the Last Great Time War. (TV: The Day of the Doctor)
