A "Cupid youth", a younger member of the Crew of the Copper-Colored Cupids, walked past the Cupid Archives in 2022 shortly after Herodotus-724 summoned Auteur to the Cupid Homeworld. Auteur hijacked Herodotus's shadow to assist in his escape from the Archives and, ultimately, the Homeworld, but was stopped by the Clockwork Sphinx which tackled the shadow. Auteur was unfazed by the attack and simply transferred himself to the shadow of the youth who was walking by outside the Archives, with the shadow growing a skull. Auteur soon left the shadow of the youth, who hadn't noticed the addition to his silhouette, passing from Cupid to Cupid as he journeyed across the Homeworld.
