Seabird I was one of Lady Penelope Creighton-Ward's yachts. She kept it in Smugglers Cove.
There was no crew aside from the autopilot which she named George because, as she explained, when employees found out about her adventures they always left her for a quieter life. She noted that one captain joined a circus because he wanted to be shot out of a cannon or something equally as dangerous.
Lady Penelope and Parker used Seabird I when tracking Roger Lyon, who had been kidnapped by Mr Steelman. They travelled from England to Italy before Steelman attempted to halt their progress by firing missiles at the boat. The ship was completely destroyed except for the garage which was bomb-proof as there was only one FAB 1. This defensive measure allowed Lady Penelope and Parker to survive the explosion and they used the hydrofoils on FAB 1 to reach mainland Naples. (COMIC: Mr. Steelman)
