Doctor Who[1] was an immersive waxwork exhibit in the Blackpool branch of Madame Tussauds,[2] launched on 19 October 2018,[3] under license from BBC Studios.
In March 2022, the exhibit was given its first and only large update, with the addition of a waxwork of Dan Lewis and a Weeping Angel prop borrowed from the BBC.[4]

Characters
Worldbuilding
- The Doctor tells you she wants to sort out "fair play throughout the universe."
- Birds sing in the treetops.
Notes
- Ray Holman was commissioned to produce the costume for this waxwork.[2]
- Jodie Whittaker was involved in the creation of the waxwork, where she attended a sitting and reviewed it for its accuracy.[2][5]
- The Dan Lewis waxwork had been repurposed from a pre-existing waxwork of John Bishop, that had been displayed in the Blackpool branch since 2015.[4]
- The 2018 Doctor Who theme played within the exhibit.
- The minisode Meet the Thirteenth Doctor [+]Loading...["Meet the Thirteenth Doctor (TV story)"] played on a television screen before the main part of the exhibit.[6]
- At other points during the exhibit's lifetime, there was another screen showing a montage of the Doctor's regenerations[7] and the 2018 Doctor Who ident,[8] a greenscreen for photographs,[9] portraits of the First through Thirteenth Doctors,[6] and a collection of costumes from Series 11 in a second room that the exhibit exited into.[8][10]
- These costumes included: Tzim-Sha, Espo, Angstrom, Rosa Parks, a SniperBot, Astos, Thijarians, a Kerb!am Man, King James I, Becka Savage, the Ux, the Reconnaissance Dalek, and Lin.
- By 2021, the exhibit was moved to a smaller room and the Series 11 costumes were removed.[6]
Continuity
- Although most of the details were altered in their transition from screen to a physical set, the forest is the very same forest from TV: Meet the Thirteenth Doctor [+]Loading...["Meet the Thirteenth Doctor (TV story)"], the Thirteenth Doctor's first onscreen appearance outside of TV: Deep Breath [+]Loading...["Deep Breath (TV story)"].
