Auton Mickey Smith was an Auton replicant of the human Mickey Smith.

Biography

As Mickey was waiting in his car as Rose Tyler was talking to Clive Finch, it animated a plastic garbage bin near Mickey. Mickey got out to investigate, but was swallowed by the bin and taken to the Nestene Conciousness' lair. He was replaced by an Auton facsimile that took Rose out for pizza. Rose, who strangely didn't notice that her "boyfriend" was plastic, tried not to talk about the Doctor, but the Auton persisted. After it began to use violence against Rose, the Ninth Doctor showed up, and shot a wine cork at the Auton, but it merely absorbed it and spat it out.

It tried to kill the Doctor by melting it's hands and reforming them as paddles. The Doctor beheaded it, but it still rampaged. As the Doctor and Rose managed to temporarily shut it in the restaurant and escape in the TARDIS with the head. The Doctor plugged the head into the TARDIS' control panel to track the Conciousness's lair. But, unfortunately, the head melted and the body did with it. But the Doctor and Rose managed to find the Conciousness's lair underneath the London Eye, but as they found, they needed to keep Mickey alive in order to work the facsimile. (DW: Rose)
