By the 52nd Century, the Earth no longer had winters, due to pollution. Environmentalists were concerned about the warp footprint of vessels. (WC: The Frozen) The Church remained a large, powerful organisation, and a race of Cybermen held power over a quadrant of the galaxy.

- 5113 - The ice planet Winter Wonderland is quickly warming up due to orbital decay. (WC: The Frozen)
- 5145 - River Song is born to Amy Pond and Rory Williams of the asteroid, Demons Run. Destruction of part of the Twelfth Cyber Legion. (DW: A Good Man Goes to War). Death of Dorium on Demons Run. (DW: A Good Man Goes to War)
- 5145 - River Song escapes from the Stormcage Containment Facility. She steals a van Gogh painting titled The Pandorica Opens from the Royal Collection after a brief confrontation with Liz 10. She purchases a vortex manipulator (taken off the wrist of a "handsome" Time Agent) at the Maldovarium in trade for a device that de-activates micro-explosives from up to twenty feet... much like the micro-explosives in the salesman Dorium's drink.
