Adrienne Corri

Adrienne Corri appeared as Mena in the Season 18 story "The Leisure Hive." She was born Adrienne Riccoboni on 13 November 1933 in Glasgow, Scotland of Italian parentage.

She is probably best known for her role as the rape victim Mrs Alexander in the 1971 Stanley Kubrick film A Clockwork Orange. According to reports Kubrick insisted the scene be reshot several times, with Corri nude the entire time. The incident resulted in years of resentment on the part of Corri for the director. Her other film credits include The Viking Queen, the film Patrick Troughton was working on when he was approached for the role of the Second Doctor.
