A Lugal-Irra-Kush was a humanoid species originating from one of the seven planets of the Sun-singers of Akhet. They could be identified by their long crests, large white eyes and small mouths. They attended the Festival of Offerings at the pyramid of the rings of Akhaten at least once. (TV: The Rings of Akhaten)

A Lugal-Irra-Kush was on display in Hedgewick's World of Wonders. (TV: Nightmare in Silver)

This species' name was never spelled on-screen, allowing for closed captioning to determine proper spelling. Unfortunately, there was discrepancy amongst closed captioners. Those working for ABC and BBCA went with Lugaleracush, while the official BBC One captioning done by Red Bee Media had it as Lugalirakush (TV: The Rings of Akhaten on DVD) or Lugal-Irra-Kush(on iPlayer?).
