Yrcanos was a warrior king, that the Doctor saw on Thoros Beta. he later fell in love with the Doctor's companion Peri. From the Matrix, it appeared that the enraged Yrcanos killed Kiv, whose mind was inside Peri's body. This was later proven false, for the two escaped and later married.
