Peter Miles (29 August 1928-26 February 2018[1]) has appeared three times on Doctor Who. His best-known appearance is probably as Nyder in Genesis of the Daleks. He also appeared as Dr Charles Lawrence in Doctor Who and the Silurians and as Professor Whitaker in Invasion of the Dinosaurs. Other Doctor Who appearances include the BBC Radio 5 Doctor Who audio drama The Paradise of Death and a role as a BBC executive in the fan parody video, The Few Doctors. Mr Miles has also played many roles in other television series including Z-Cars, Warship and Moonbase 3. His stage credits include work with the Birmingham Repertory Theatre and the Royal Shakespeare Company. The DVD release of Genesis of the Daleks included commentary by Miles. He also contributed to the Davros Connections documentary.
