Charles Lawrence
Dr. Charles Lawrence was the director of the Wenley Moor nuclear research facility.
Biography[[edit] | [edit source]]
Lawrence refused to cooperate with UNIT's investigations, as he felt their investigations were frivolous and unproductive in solving his power loss problem. He eventually called in his friend Masters in an effort to have UNIT removed from the facility.
His disbelief in the existence of the Silurians and distress over the plant's apparent shutdown eventually led to his death, as he refused to be inoculated against the Silurian virus, which he succumbed to. (TV: Doctor Who and the Silurians)
Lawrence died at 4:00 p.m. on 21 November. He had received a letter from the Apocalypse Clock which predicted the exact date and time of his death. (AUDIO: The Last Post)
Behind the scenes[[edit] | [edit source]]
