- The majority of this story takes place the same time as the 2015 Christmas special, The Fright Before Christmas, with a phone call between Lethbridge-Stewart and Samson referencing the meeting Lethbridge-Stewart is about to attend (as seen in Fright Before Christmas).
- Evans has been transferred to Imber, undergoing training with Major Leopold and Captain Younghusband. (PROSE: The Band of Evil, The Last Duty)
