The A46 was a road in the west of England.
The A46 intersected with the M4 at junction 18, located just south-east of Chipping Sodbury. Taken north, it then branched off into the A443 to the south-west of Didmarton. Continuing north from this junction, the A46 ran through Nailsworth, Stroud and Painswick, then bypassed Gloucester.
The A46 appeared on Mary Cooper's map of overflow camps in and around Wales. (TV: The Categories of Life)
