Behind the scenes
- Hannibal Lecter was a fictional character known for his serial killings and cannibalism. He had a calm, sophisticated and perversely likable personality. Hannibal first appeared in the 1981 novel Red Dragon by Thomas Harris. He went on to appear in several sequels and a variety of film adaptations, most famously the 1991 film The Silence of the Lambs.
