On a parallel Earth, Hive Section 49 was a group of around ten Cybermen, led by a Cyber-Controller and Cyber-Commander, that was activated by the Machine after it used the mental avatars of UNIT members Petronella Osgood, Vikram Shindi and Josh Carter to form a dimension bridge connecting from the human battery cavern it was based in on this parallel Earth to the Earth of N-Space, specifically Fortress Island in the 2010s. After the Cybermen were either activated from storage or converted from a small number of human batteries, they began the process of dimension seeding in N-Space, starting with the conquest of Fortress Island, they deployed a patrol of mobile conversion units to assist them by slowly converting a portion of the human soldiers on the fort whilst the Cybermen deleted the rest. (AUDIO: Telepresence, Code Silver) After escaping the fort, the Cybermen began building conversion centres across the planet, converting hundreds of humans, until they were all destroyed by the War Master. (AUDIO: Master of Worlds)
