Gin

Gin was a type of spirit served in Earth pubs. Gin was used to make the mixed drink gin and tonic.

There was a stall selling gin at the 1814 frost fair. (TV: Thin Ice)

In the television series EastEnders, a storyline in 2007 had Peggy Mitchell, confronted by the ghost of Den Watts, telling him to get out of her pub, saying that the only spirits she served were gin, whiskey and vodka. (TV: Army of Ghosts)
