Windsor

Windsor was a city in England, best known as the site of Windsor Castle and Windsor Great Park.

History

In 1638, the Doctor launched Nemesis into orbit to keep it out of the hands of Lady Peinforte, and it returned to Windsor in 1988. (TV: Silver Nemesis)

Mary Shelley lived in Windsor, in Bishopsgate near the Great Park, before travelling to Switzerland where in June 1816 she encountered the Doctor. (AUDIO: The Silver Turk)

In the 2000s, a plane destined for London, New Heathrow, crashed into Windsor, taking out the Windsor Castle. A prince and his close friend were believed to be in the castle when the crash occurred.
