Where exactly is it mentioned in this story that it's set in 2010? Is this actually stated, or based on reasoning from the reference to Mike Yates being someplace else in 2009 in Death of the Doctor?

OK, so the dating of this story (and the rest of The Nest Cottage Chronicles) was added by me around 2 years ago. Now, looking back on it, I may have taken some quotes a little too literally, but I added all the relevant quotes to Theory:Timeline - 21st century. My reasoning back then was based on a quote in The Broken Crown, where Wibbsey says that they're 150 years in the past (when they're in 1861). Now the present day of The Relics of Time(2.1) to Aladdin Time(3.3) was the same December, meaning they must all be set in December 2011 (if the "150 years" quote is taken literally).
Right, now the dating of Hornets' Nest can be determined from that series, as The Relics of Time is specified as the following Christmas after Hornets' Nest. Hence Hornets' Nest must be set in December 2010. Now that was my reasoning 2 years ago, although I recognise now that the 150 years quote was probably not meant to be taken so literally. Perhaps it would be better to change the setting to "Nest Cottage, 23-24 December circa 2010"?
