Dr. Ninth was the eighth story in the Dr. Men series. It was written and illustrated by Adam Hargreaves.

- Rose believes it'd be less scary if the Nestene Consciousness could bring to life jam tarts rather than mannequins.
- Mr. Socket's electrical shop was located next door to the clothes shop. Miss Dinky's toy shop, and Mrs. Sprout's Greengrocer's were also located nearby.
Notes
- The story offers an alternate account of the events of TV: Rose, with the most noteable difference being that Jack is already travelling with the Doctor by the time Rose meets them.
