All Snug in Their Beds was the twentieth short story in the Short Trips anthology Short Trips: The Ghosts of Christmas. It was written by Scott Alan Woodard. It featured the Fourth Doctor, Romana II and K9.

Summary

The Doctor, Romana and K9 answer a distress call on the colony ship Karsudan. They find a hole in the ship and the ship infested by mice. The ship was launched over three hundred years ago and is off-course; the journey was only supposed to last months.

Also wandering the ship is a "cog" — half-cat, half-dog, which has been eating the mice. Two children, Alpharetta and Bertram, have woken up. The mice are descendants of Bertram's pet mice. The Doctor and his friends fix the ship, set it on its correct course, put the children back to bed and leave presents for all the colonists, as they will reach their destination and wake up at Christmas.
