Kathy Beale was a resident of Albert Square in the East End of London.
In 1973, she was chatting with her sister-in-law Pauline when Susan met the Sixth Doctor outside the Queen Vic pub. 40 years later, the two ladies met the Third Doctor and Melanie Bush. (NOTVALID: Dimensions in Time)
Behind the scenes
Kathy Beale was a character on EastEnders. She appeared in Dimensions in Time as it was a crossover special with Doctor Who.
In the special, Kathy was depicted as still being alive and living on the square by 2013. By this point in EastEnders' own continuity, Kathy had initially been long established as having died off-screen in an accident. The character made a surprise return two years later, where her death was revealed to have been faked in an effort to protect her children from an abusive husband.
