Personality

When asked if Kublai Khan would be angry if the caravan were to be delayed, Marco Polo responded by saying "of course he will". His two great passions were hunting and falconry and his stables were said to house ten thousand white stallions. He also enjoyed gambling, but the Empress did not approve. He became quick friends with the First Doctor due to their shared old age and related afflictions. (TV: Marco Polo)
