The UNIT website during the Sycorax invasion of Earth. (TV: The Christmas Invasion)
You may be looking for the real world U.N.I.T. website.

The UNIT website was the official website of UNIT, being active since at least 2005. It had many private operations held on the site, despite it being accessible to the public.

History

The UNIT website contained pages on the history of the organisation, (PROSE: UNIT History: Fighting the unknown) press briefings, (PROSE: The Clocks Go Forward, UNIT's Position on the Skaniska Incident, UNIT's New York Operation Expansion, et al.) classified resources, such as an operations board for UNIT officers to discuss current affairs, (PROSE: Operation London, Operation Mannequin, Number Ten, et al.) and a visual interface control of many worldwide weapons arsenals. (TV: World War Three)

Mickey Smith accessed the secure section of the website, with the password of "buffalo", to fire a missile at 10 Downing Street to stop the Slitheen from destroying planet Earth. (TV: World War Three)

Sergeant Catherine Petts submitted a dossier on Rose Tyler in 2006 — also referencing Mickey's acquisition of whoisdoctorwho.co.uk which contained sensitive, classified information — causing Sergeant J Frinkstein changed the passwords to the secure parts of the website, and while Major Jenny Maguire suggested leaving the passwords be and simply insert misinformation instead, Staff Sergeant A. Frederick seemingly rejected the idea, as she already had more than enough work to do. (PROSE: Rose Tyler)

Shortly before the Sycorax invasion of Earth, Mickey accessed the website again and saw the military was tracking the Sycorax spaceship headed for Earth. Later, Mickey and Rose Tyler watched a video message from the Sycorax on the website. Rose noticed the TARDIS wasn't translating their Sycoraxic speech like it usually did for alien languages. (TV: The Christmas Invasion)

Behind the scenes

Main article: U.N.I.T. (fictional website)

The BBC Web Team created a real-life version of the in-universe UNIT website, which is available at unit.org.uk. This website includes six sections: UNIT history, press releases, conferences, publications, news and one secure section, an ops board, which contains information about past UNIT operations and reports.
