Summary

Mr. William Noddle, a dedicated Doctor Who fan, wanders round the streets of South London. He notices that the streets are empty and compares it to a vintage Doctor Who episode. He returns home and attempts to phone his friends, none of whom are answering. He then realises that he has missed the first episode of the new series of Doctor Who. Casualty is playing on the TV and, as he screams, a cat runs away.

Notes

  • This instalment loosely ties in with Christopher Eccleston's return as the Ninth Doctor for Big Finish Productions.
  • Casualty did, indeed, air following the premiere of Rose, although not immediately, with that night's National Lottery draw airing between the two shows.[1] However, it is not unreasonable to assume that Noddle simply did not get a chance to switch on his television until 35 minutes after the episode's conclusion.
