June Brown OBE (16 February 1927[1]-3 April 2022[2]) played Lady Eleanor in the Doctor Who television story The Time Warrior. Outside of Doctor Who, she was probably best known for playing Dot Cotton in EastEnders.
She appeared as her EastEnders character in Dermot and the Doctor.
She also appeared as herself in the 2011 BBC One Christmas ident, Consider Yourself One Of Us...
