Rust was a dark shade of orange, red and brown called after iron oxide.
The Doctor wore rust blazers during his third (TV: Day of the Daleks) and fourth incarnation. (TV: Robot, The Ark in Space, The Sontaran Experiment, Genesis of the Daleks, Revenge of the Cybermen) He also wore a rust jumper with a v-neck collar during his ninth incarnation.
