Cardiff Earthquake, prefixed as PRESS STATEMENT: Cardiff Earthquake on the story's page, was a short story released on the U.N.I.T. website as part of the UNIT Press Briefings series of in-universe, narrative press briefings.
This story tied into the television story Boom Town.
Plot
In the wake of the Cardiff Earthquake, on 8 October, UNIT reports in a press briefing that the clean-up operation has been successful. However, Margaret Blaine is among the many people missing and UNIT's Scientific Advisors have agreed that, due to the instability of the ground the plant was to be built on, the Blaidd Drwg Power Plant project should be abandoned.
