Derek Martin (born 11 April 1933[1]) appeared in several Doctor Who television stories. He was also a member of the stunt group HAVOC.

He also contributed to the DVD audio commentaries for The Web of Fear and The Ambassadors of Death, as well as the 115th edition of Big Finish's charity podcast series Toby Hadoke's Who's Round and the documentary Going Underground.

Career

  • Martin is probably best known for playing Charlie Slater, patriarch of the notorious, predominantly female Slater family, in EastEnders.
