Biography

In Pete Tracker's article about Spectrum, published on the front page of TV Century 21 on 23 September 2067, Fawn was mentioned in a list of personnel. (PROSE: SPECTRUM is Green)

Following the Mysteronised Captain Scarlet's eight hundred feet fall (PROSE: Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons, COMIC: We Will Destroy Unity City [+]Loading...["We Will Destroy Unity City (comic story)"]) from the top of London Car-Vue, (PROSE: Scarlet Kidnapped!, Marineville Ablaze) Doctor Fawn conducted an examination of Scarlet's body. To his astonishment, he found his patient was getting well again in spite of the fact he should have been dead. He told Colonel White as much when he came to check in on Scarlet's condition, leading White to enquire with Fawn as to whether he was certain the fall had broken the Mysteron spell and brought Scarlet back under Spectrum's control. In 2067, Doctor Fawn examined the remains of Captain Scarlet after he was involved in a mid-air jet crash. He estimated to Colonel White that he would be fully recovered in just four hours. Later, Fawn and the rest of Cloudbase's personnel save the recovering Scarlet were knocked unconscious by the D17 poison gas with which Captain Black had sprayed the surrounding clouds. Scarlet was unaffected due to being placed in a purified atmosphere and discovered Fawn passed out at his desk once he had recovered, alerting Scarlet foul play was afoot. (COMIC: We Will Destroy Unity City [+]Loading...["We Will Destroy Unity City (comic story)"])

In 2068, after Captain Scarlet brought Captain Black, who had seemingly been freed from the influence of the Mysterons, back to Cloudbase, Doctor Fawn ran a series of tests on him to confirm this diagnosis. He also tested Black on his knowledge of the Mysterons and found him to know nothing about them. He later reported to Colonel White that he could find no trace of any Mysteron control in Black, determining him to be fit for a return to service with Spectrum.

White, Scarlet and Captain Blue decided in a meeting to take advantage of the Mysterons' apparent lack of power by destroying their city with an electrode cannon mounted on a spaceship. The mission was successful and six months passed with no Mysteron activity, prompting World President T.J. Younger to disband Spectrum at the final celebration of humanity's victory in the Mysteron War. However, once it became clear that the Mysterons' defeat had been a clever ruse, the organisation was reformed. (COMIC: Traitor Black Gives In!)
